At Quality First Career Center, we offer a 78-hour training program for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to get certified as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA). This course is specifically designed to teach CNAs how to efficiently care for the elderly.
Although CNAs can already work in many different care facilities or care settings, becoming a GNA with just this short course allows them to also work in Nursing Homes. It widens the CNA’s employment opportunities, not to mention they will have the capacity to care for their geriatric patients better.
Upon successfully completing the program, the student will be eligible to take the GNA Certification test.
Are you a CNA now? Do you want to level up your skills and become a GNA? Call 301-270-5105 for enrollment inquiries.
